Variable and trimmable seating board tilt
The tilt of the seating board is variable andapts itself to different flight positions. The harnesses disposes of a fixation of the seating board tilt with which the basic position of the seating board can be trimmed.

Adaption to different flight positions
The shoulder straps which run through the chest strap or the SIL to the trailing edge of the seat support the adaption of the seat board tilt. By straining the shoulder straps, the trailing edge is lifted: When launching and at the transition to the stretched supine position the seat adapts, the transition launching-/flying-position becomes easier.

Balanced stability characteristics
The harness apparatuses for carabiner and SIL-X dispose of a forked chest strap. Height and type of the chest strap's branching effect the stability characteristics of the harness in turbulences.
With the branching, balanced stability characteristics are achieved with a relatively low lying chest strap.

A low lying chest strap eases the launch of the paraglider.
At the harness apparatus SIL-D, the stability characteristics of the harness in turbulences is adjustable during the flight.

Especially pleasant back support
At all Charly harnesses the hip strap is linked extra high to the SIL or carabiner.
Thus, the back support is optimised and makes heavy reinforcements unnecessary.

Easy to adjust
Especially developed sliding bridges by Charly and correctly sized webbing band make adjustment simple when unburdened and ensure a depandable fixation of the straps when burdened. Neoprene-coverings of the adjustable elements prevent unintentioned slipping-through of the straps.

A contribution to safety
Unsecured activation spints of the rescue system have quite often lead to unintentioned deployment. The friction of the splint at the loop decreases with decreasing packing pressure. The falling out of the splints can become dangerous at ground level. Usually, the splint therefor is secured with special safety threads which have to be renewed after every deployment.
