Kamasutra II

Description:

The Kamasutra II takes over from the famous Kamasutra. At first sight you may only notice small aesthetic changes; but subtle changes in the architecture have also improved the ergonomics and comfort.
This harness allows the pilot to fly in all positions with no adjustments required to change from one position to another.
The KARVE System, a unique system of load distribution by sliding straps, makes this result possible.
The factory settings are ideal and the contact of the harness with the back is perfect, resulting in an exceptional level of comfort in all positions.
For those that prefer a seated position, a limiting strap allows the pilot to lock the position of the harness at any time and to return to a standard setting. Two buckle “V” clip in, with integrated non-forgettable clip-in system and adjustable roll damping in flight is standard.

Description:

This harness was developed for optimal confort in positions ranging from upright to semi-inclined. It is a worthy derivative of its big brother the Kamasutra.
Particular attention was paid to the ergonomics in order to create perfect contact between the harness and the pilot’s back whilst avoiding the use of an overly rigid structure. The result is an extremely comfortable but light harness that perfectly follows the pilots movements.
It uses the two buckle “V” architecture with an integrated non-forgettable clip-in system and adjustable roll dampening of large amplitude.

Karma II

The Karma II was designed to respond to remarks concerning the Karma, namely that the weight and bulk were too high.

The Karma II meets these demands without sacrificing safety, quite the contrary. The simple solution to reduce the volume in the bag is to switch to an airbag style back protector. Unfortunately, airbags are not effective during takeoff. The Karma II is therefore equipped with a permanent airbag, the Krashbox.
The Krashbox incorporates a foam module which gives the protector its shape and volume ensuring the effectiveness of the airbag right out of the bag. In fact the Karma II has been LTF certified even without pre-inflation!
Great efforts have been made, using new materials such as Dyneema straps, to reduce the weight without affecting strength.
But we also went beyond the requirements of the certification standards by maintaining a constant thickness of the airbag in the back, allowing it to pass the same certification in the case of a flat-back impact, being inflated in this case by the side air intake scoop.

Particular attention was paid to the ergonomic aspect of the design in order to achieve perfect contact with the back whilst avoiding too much rigidity in the structure. The result is a harness with a very high level of comfort that perfectly follows the pilot’s movements but which also remains lightweight.
It uses the well known two point “V” clip in architecture used on the Karma and Kamasutra II, which acts as a built-in non-forgettable security system and also incorporates high amplitude roll damping which is adjustable in flight. But we have further improved the system by making it more progressive. The result is greater comfort and precision in turns.

Weight:

Karver II

The Karver II continues the concept of a harness without shoulder straps, inaugurated by the Karver. This concept has proved its potential in terms of comfort, safety and flying pleasure. It has evolved with less weight, more comfort and simplicity. It has also become modular, like the Kruyer II with whom it shares the module attachment system. Indeed, Karver II is designed to receive various modules. A reversible airbag-backpack is already available. Other modules will emerge later.

The waist and leg straps are loop type guaranteeing simplicity and security. Field of use: Mountain, speed flying/riding, tandem pilot, tandem passenger, local flight, cross country, competition, acro, fly school.

Reversible airbag-backpack Sak II

The SaK II is a reversible and removable backpack-airbag designed for Kruyer II and the Karver II.

The SaK and Kruyer II / Karver II combination allows total flexibility. And if you add the front mount reserve all types of flight become possible. The SaK is attached to these harnesses in 2 minutes by six points: two under the thighs; a hollow in the lower back; two at the back; and one in upper back. Adding the SaK II also improves harness comfort and precision. The lateral triangle adds an adjustable lumbar support and a more direct action on the wing through harness steering. The SaK II can potentially fit on any other mountain harness. Just add the appropriate fixings.

SaK II is equipped with fixings for an axe or walking sticks, and mesh pockets. Its lid is reversed in airbag position and turns into a pocket to store things without interfering with the proper functioning of the airbag.

SaK II has been designed so that you can block the ventilation holes between the lower and upper chambers of the airbag with a single patch of Velcro, which can be left in place. Thus, the airbag can be adapted in a minute for use as a tandem passenger harness, thus further increasing the versatility of Karver II and Kruyer II.

Kliff III

Kortel Kliff III

The Kliff III is still the reference in mountaineering harnesses and now has a new modulated 3D geometry!
This technology provides a level of comfort that is unique for a harness in this weight class. The pilot becomes one with the harness and stress points are significantly reduced.
It is the only harness that can be attached directly to the glider without carabiners. In addition, the exclusive "Konnect" buckle system allows the leg straps to be opened, which is a great advantage when flying with crampons or skis.

• The harness has been constructed using materials in the structural reinforcements that are twice as strong as conventional materials, such as Aluula®.
• Optimisation of the cut patterns for the seat and back has also contributed to increased durability.

Kool

The Kool has been designed in collaboration with paragliding teachers.
The design has been optimized the use in school, but it will be perfectly adapted to make its first XC flights.
The rescue container is integrated inside the airbag, for an easy extraction and an optimum protection.

Regarding the protection, the Kool resumes(takes back) the principle of her big sister the Karma II with a complete airbag, shaped from the take-off thanks to a special shaping foam.

The Kool distinguishes itself on the other hand from the Karma II on the webbing belts. It consists of 2 separate belts for the legs, and one for the chest strap. The optimized position of these belts confers to the harness an excellent mobility on the take-off, and an increased comfort during the playground sessions.
