K-Flex

The first uni-size harness, fully adjustable for passengers and pilots with a body dimension of 1,50 – 2,00 m.

K-Flex is characterized by maximum flexibility. It is fully adjustable and thus fits easily to all tandem passengers. But also for pilots who are
currently paragliding students or for the first flights, the K-Flex can convince! The seat board depth and breadth, back length and back angle
are adjustable.

K-Flex has a pre-filled airbag with lateral air-inlet. It is equipped with a big storage bag, side handles for start help and a removable, washable
cover, protecting the airbag.

Das Koncept ist das erste voll verstellbare Gleitschirmgurtzeug von XS bis XL! Jede einzelne Einstellung kann unabhängig voneinander verändert werden, um das Gurtzeug an Ihre individuelle Körperform anzupassen. Neben den üblichen Komforteinstellungen ist es möglich, die Länge der Rückenlehne, die Höhe der Verankerungspunkte und die Größe des Sitzbretts einzustellen. Koncept. A name, an idea: One harness = Five sizes, from XS to XL.

With its exclusive tuning system, the Koncept is the first harness in its category which adapts perfectly to all pilot morphologies. In addition to the usual comfort settings, it is possible to adjust the length of the backrest, the height of the anchor points, and the size of the seat board. The back airbag also adjusts to every size for optimal protection.

Kliff III

Kortel Kliff III

The Kliff III is still the reference in mountaineering harnesses and now has a new modulated 3D geometry!
This technology provides a level of comfort that is unique for a harness in this weight class. The pilot becomes one with the harness and stress points are significantly reduced.
It is the only harness that can be attached directly to the glider without carabiners. In addition, the exclusive "Konnect" buckle system allows the leg straps to be opened, which is a great advantage when flying with crampons or skis.

• The harness has been constructed using materials in the structural reinforcements that are twice as strong as conventional materials, such as Aluula®.
• Optimisation of the cut patterns for the seat and back has also contributed to increased durability.
• No open Dyneema® lines in the back and leg areas to minimise the risk of entanglement and reduce wear.
• The use of longer nitinol rods on the legs provides better leg support.
• Separate leg suspension for a more active and dynamic flying experience!
• Integrated sliding rings for smooth operation of the speed pedal.
• The optional removable airbag increases passive safety (weight: 200 g).

Kuik

Description:

A new concept of multi-purpose harness.
Initially developed for speed-riding, with its small, removable seat plate and its removable mousse-bag, this harness lends itself to all forms of free flight that don’t require a reserve parachute: ground handling, waggas and lightweight flying as well as for tandem passengers.
Light (2.1 kg naked and 2.9 kg full options) and close fitting, you will forget it’s there! Its two automatic buckles make it easy to put on in any circumstances (even in winter equipped with skis and gloves : no leg loops to step into).

Two buckle “V” architecture with an integrated non-forgettable clip-in system.

Features:

Removable seat plate: with = more precise weight shifting; without = less weight.
When the mousse-bag is removed its pocket can be zipped flat to reduce the volume of the harness to a minimum.
An easily accessible stuff sack is integrated into the back of the harness to allow the wing to be carried on the pilot’s lap without removing the harness (for use on chairlifts etc.)
Quick and easy to put on thanks to its two automatic buckles.

Kuik II

The only things that the Kuik II has in common with the first Kuik are its name and its innovative nature. At the time the Kuik I was the first split leg harness that was not made exclusively for mountain flying. The Kuik II is in our opinion the first split leg harness that comes close to traditional harnesses in terms of feel and comfort. Moreover its modular design makes it accessible to all.

The Kuik II comes in the form of a bare core to which different modules can be attached thus adapting the harness to the type of flight required. For maximum flexibility the Kuik II is designed to allow a reserve parachute to be attached to the shoulders. The Kuik II concept is almost an entire range of harnesses in one..

The core structure incorporates the latest innovations made by the Kortel Design R&D team in terms of ergonomics and shaping of raw materiels.

The result is astonishing:

• The distribution of the pilot's mass over the largest possible surface area even in a thermalling position (laterally inclined) for maximum comfort.
• A natural leg position, not too open.
• Simple to adjust.
• Leg independence limited.

The result is astonishingly precise handling for this type of geometry, which coupled with comfort worthy of the best harnesses, allowed us to consider modules tailored to uses that go well beyond the possibilities of the Kuik I.

HG931 Modul Krashbox

This module turns your Kuik II into the equivalent of a Karma II without the seat board. It uses the same Krashbox system, a permanent airbag pre-inflated by a foam structure for effective back protection straight out of the bag.

The airbag is of a large volume (thus providing effective protection) all the way up the back.
Reserve parachute pocket under the thighs.
Lateral reinforcements to prevent wear by the accelerator chord.
Foot stirrup equipped with quick release system in case of reserve parachute deployment.

HG932 Modul reversible harness with airbag

This module adapts your Kuik II for hiking use. The reserve parachute should be front mounted (attachment at shoulder level possible). The backpack comes with a custom compression bag which gives the folded paraglider a suitable shape. The compression bag combined with the backpack mode of the module provide a level of comfort and efficiency close to that of a true mountain rucksack. In airbag mode the module becomes a veritable back protector covering the entire surface of the harness with maximum depth. The top flap of the backpack becomes an internal storage pocket which allows you to store all your things without interfering with the correct functioning of the airbag and the inflation of the upper compartment in particular.

HG933 Modul foam protector

This module adds a back pocket and a simple 17cm mousse bag style (LTF certified) back protector to your Kuik II.
Ideal for ground handling sessions, waggas close to the ground or use on the training hill.
This is the module that is the closest in functionality to the original Kuik.

HG934 Modul Race

The Kuik II becomes a cross country weapon. This module is in fact composed of two parts.

• A profiled upper part, with a storage pocket and a combined mousse bag/airbag back protection system covering the entire surface of the back.
• A pod which takes two minutes to attach, with an innovative front reserve parachute pocket, that completes the aerodynamic shape of the harness and improves its comfort and precision.

Kruyer III

Kruyer II

Gain in comfort was achieved by improving the thigh support, as well as by the use of the EVA foam. Templates have also been redesigned to further improve the management of the pilot's mass without generating pressure points.Kruyer II becomes more comfortable than the old version, even the old Kairn, with a weight saving of around 30%!

Reversible airbag-backpack Sak II

The SaK II is a reversible and removable backpack-airbag designed for Kruyer II and the Karver II.

The SaK and Kruyer II / Karver II combination allows total flexibility. And if you add the front mount reserve all types of flight become possible. The SaK is attached to these harnesses in 2 minutes by six points: two under the thighs; a hollow in the lower back; two at the back; and one in upper back. Adding the SaK II also improves harness comfort and precision. The lateral triangle adds an adjustable lumbar support and a more direct action on the wing through harness steering. The SaK II can potentially fit on any other mountain harness. Just add the appropriate fixings.

SaK II is equipped with fixings for an axe or walking sticks, and mesh pockets. Its lid is reversed in airbag position and turns into a pocket to store things without interfering with the proper functioning of the airbag.

SaK II has been designed so that you can block the ventilation holes between the lower and upper chambers of the airbag with a single patch of Velcro, which can be left in place. Thus, the airbag can be adapted in a minute for use as a tandem passenger harness, thus further increasing the versatility of Karver II and Kruyer II.
