Kruyer II
The Kruyer II is the new light harness Kortel Design. Compared to the first Kruyer, we had two goals: make it lighter while improving comfort. Weight savings have been achieved through the use of even more high-tech materials. Kevlar webbing is replaced by the lighter Dyneema of equal strength. Foams are now a high density EVA for better performance over time.
Gain in comfort was achieved by improving the thigh support, as well as by the use of the EVA foam. Templates have also been redesigned to further improve the management of the pilot's mass without generating pressure points.Kruyer II becomes more comfortable than the old version, even the old Kairn, with a weight saving of around 30%!

Kruyer II retains its modularity with a stronger, more reliable and simpler fastening system than its predecessor. It remains possible to add a reversible airbag-backpack, with other modules to come.

Reversible airbag-backpack Sak II
The SaK II is a reversible and removable backpack-airbag designed for Kruyer II and the Karver II.
The SaK and Kruyer II / Karver II combination allows total flexibility. And if you add the front mount reserve all types of flight become possible. The SaK is attached to these harnesses in 2 minutes by six points: two under the thighs; a hollow in the lower back; two at the back; and one in upper back. Adding the SaK II also improves harness comfort and precision. The lateral triangle adds an adjustable lumbar support and a more direct action on the wing through harness steering. The SaK II can potentially fit on any other mountain harness. Just add the appropriate fixings.
SaK II is equipped with fixings for an axe or walking sticks, and mesh pockets. Its lid is reversed in airbag position and turns into a pocket to store things without interfering with the proper functioning of the airbag.
SaK II has been designed so that you can block the ventilation holes between the lower and upper chambers of the airbag with a single patch of Velcro, which can be left in place. Thus, the airbag can be adapted in a minute for use as a tandem passenger harness, thus further increasing the versatility of Karver II and Kruyer II.

The KUIK III is a unique, advanced reversible harness with a modular design that makes it extremely versatile. The Kairn is Kortel Design’s response to the mountain harness concept.
Our first prototypes were light, very light, comparable with models already on the market. And then we went flying with them…. Then we tried equivalent products. Ouch! Do people really fly with these? Really fly? Because it wouldn’t occur to us to do so. So we decided to produce a harness, not quite as light perhaps, but oh so much more comfortable.
The Kairn, 750g, also made for flying. Serial number and size are situated on the pilot backpack.
