This is a very dynamic wing that performs highly energised manouevres. It is very precise in the turn and has a great tendancy to climb when energised.
It has short brake travel and has little pressure in the brakes when stalled. It enters negatives easily and does big Misty Flips with strong pendulums.
In SAT manouevres it retains pressure in the wingtips. The Rhythmic SAT works well all the way to Infinite. The Infinite is easy to correct and understand and remains in Infinit even with hands high.
It has good performance for cross-country flying and thermals easily with a progressive turn.
Blue: The wing loading within this weight range is very low but an Intermediate level acro pilot can do almost any type of acrobatic manouevre although the wing reacts quite slowly. The pilot will have a very low sink rate in normal flight and a nice turn in thermic flight.
NEGATIVE Manouevres: (Full Stalls, Tail Slide, Negative Spins, Helicopters, Misty Flips, Mc Twist) it is possible to perform these manouevres, although the wing has a slow rotation.
DYNAMIC Manouevres: (Wing overs, Wagas, Asymmetrics, Looping) within this weight range the wing does is not ideally loaded for dynamic manouevres. The pilot will be able to perform dynamic moves but it is not easy to keep up the energy necessary for looping and there is a possibility of collapses and slack lines.
SAT Manouevres: (SAT, Asymmetric SAT, Tumbling, Infinit, Rhythmic SAT) the SAT and Asymmetric SAT work well within this weight range. The wing is stable and maintains pressure. Tumbling and Rhythmic SAT will only just work and will have a tendancy to collapse if the wing passes vertically underneath the pilot. Infinit is not reccommended and will only work for one or two rotations.
Green: In this weight range the pilot will find the wing nicely energised but still not sufficient to perform high-level manouevres. Here an Intermediate level acro pilot will feel comfortable enough to progress further in almost any manouevre. The wing reacts in a lively manner and there is less reaction time for the pilot.
NEGATIVE Manouevres: these type of manouevres work well with a rotation speed more suited to this type of wing
DYNAMIC Manouevres: with this slightly higher wing loading all dynamic manouevres can be performed but it still lacks
some energy to perform Looping.
SAT Manouevres: more energy and higher pressure in the wing for all of these manouevres but still insufficient for Rhythmic SAT and Infinit.
Yellow: This is the ideal weight range for all types of acro manouevres and the best choice for pilots of intermediate to advanced level. The reactions of the wing are very agile and have absolute precision.
NEGATIVE Manouevres: all negative manouevres are fast and quick to react. The entry into negative and stall is very precise and enters easily at the right moment.
DYNAMIC Manouevres: all types of dynamic manouevres are excellent at this wing loading with highly energised execution and presice handling.
SAT Manouevres: plenty of energy and high pressure in the wing in any SAT position. The Rhythmic SAT and Infinit work perfectly with this wing loading.
Orange: With this weight the reactions of the wing are still very good for all the acro manouevres but it is necessary to be an advanced acro pilot.
NEGATIVE Manouevres: the reactions in this type of manouevre are very quick and the rotations are very fast, giving the pilot little time to react to the wing.
DYNAMIC Manouevres: the movements are very agressive with a tendancy to pitch and dive rapidly, although it still
performs highly energised manouevres with precise handling.
SAT Manouevres: excellent momentum in all SAT manouevres with easy entry and maintaining a high speed of rotation.
Red: From this weight onwards the manouevres become extremely radical requiring absolute pilot control at all times. Any piloting error will result in big collapses and very fast autorotations.
The large sizes of MATRIX are designed for acro flying which is different to all other gliders giving a unique flying experience.
It's new design gives the MATRIX a very high internal pressure. The brake travel is long for an acro wing and the brake pressure is fairly physical as a result. The handling in Helicopters is a bit different to other acro wings but once the pilot has mastered it it's easy to enter into and maintain helicopters from any position. The SAT Manouevres are excellent, better than any other acro wing. It maintains pressure in the wingtips in any SAT positions. In Rhythmic SAT you can release the brake entirely without any collapses. In Infinit the glider behaves very well without any loss of energy or pressure and with a strong tendancy to stablise vertically.
The small sizes of MATRIX are ideal for mountain flying or speed flying. A lightweight wing of simple construction and reinforced for acrobatic flight. High internal pressure with quite physical brakes Total manouevrability in all dynamic moves. Reacts strongly to brake input and weight shift. It pendulums easily and can remain in a dive for radical descents. We do not recommend acro on these sizes of the MATRIX as the behaviour is extremely radical. The inflation and take-off are very easy and to land a strong swing-through is required.
Green: It has a low sink-rate, is easy to take-off and land, and the reactions to brake input are a little faster. It is only advisable to do dynamic manouevres as any other type of acro manouevre is difficult to control requiring an advanced skill level.
Yellow: This is the ideal weight range for Speedflying, with a moderate sink-rate. Take-off and landings are more technical, the turns are quick and precise and the wing can perform wingovers
and very steep turns. It is only advisable to do dynamic manouevres as any other type of acro manouevre is difficult to control requiring an advanced skill level.
Orange: In this weight range the sink-rate is quite high, the take-off is technical and high speed, and the landing is very technical requiring a good swing-through for a soft landing. The turns are extreme with a high sink rate and require precise, technical piloting. It is only advisable to do dynamic manouevres as any other type of acro manouevre is difficult to control requiring an advanced skill level.
Red: With this loading the wing dives radically throughout flight, requiring very technical piloting and the reactions to brake input are extreme. It is not recommendable to perform acro.

The ROLLING is a certified wing which is very agile and has a lively handling. It is designed for learning acrobatic manouevres up to intermediate level.
We also recommend the ROLLING for any non-acro pilot, who is looking for an agile and dynamic glider, which is tested, trimmed and fine tuned by Raul Rodriguez. It has light brakes at all times which makes the learning of negative manouevres easy. Entry into SAT and Asymmetric SAT is very easy to understand. The wingtips remain inflated at all times. The wing works well in Rhythmic SAT and it banks up easily. It is not designed to go totally vertical and it will not perform Infinit.
The ROLLING has a very good glide and climb performance and an effective accelerator.
Blue: To fly this wing at this weight is uncertified. The wing reacts in a slow and unsafe way during
acro manouvres.
Green: This weight range will give the Beginner Acro Pilot a good reaction time, ideal for learning the basic acro manouvres.
NEGATIVE Manouevres: the pilot can easily learn the basic negative manouevres: Full Stalls, Spins and Tail Slides.
DYNAMIC Manouevres: The wing has the ideal energy input to allow the pilot to learn Pitch Pendulums and start to control small Wing Overs.
SAT Manouevres: the wing maintains pressure at all times making it easy to learn SATs.
Yellow: This is the ideal weight range for learning acro for all pilots from Beginner to Intermediate level.
NEGATIVE Manouevres: the wing has a comfortable reaction time which allows a good learning curve for all the manouevres of this type including Helicopters and Misty Flips.
DYNAMIC Manouevres: any type of dynamic movement is excellent at this wing loading with fully energised and precise handling.
SAT Manouevres: the wing has enough momentum to progress to Asymmetric SAT and Rhythmic SAT. It goes into Tumbling easily but is is not recommended to go totally vertical as the wing collapses easily.
Orange: Within this weight range the wing reacts much faster and the pilot must have at least an Intermediate level to control it.
NEGATIVE Manouevres: fast reactions in negative requiring very precise piloting at all times.
DYNAMIC Manouevres: with this loading the wing is very fast allowing all dynamic manouevres to be performed without any loss of pressure and precise handling.
SAT Manouevres: the SAT, Asymmetric SAT and Tumbling are highly pressurized although it is not advisable to go totally vertical as the wing collapses easily.
Red: From this weight onwards the manouevres become extremely radical requiring absolute pilot
control at all times. Any piloting error will result in big collapses and very fast autorotations.
RR Acro Wings has arised thanks to the 22-year-old flight experience of Raúl Rodríguez and the cooperation with NOVA Performance Paragliders.
Raúl is a real pioneer of the free flight. Thanks to his intellectual curiosity, his imagination and his extraordinary "flying" instinct one has succeeded in introducing a new way of the paragliding handling. Raúl dominated, interpreted new, controlled, excelled practically all rules of the free flight. He opened all doors which offered the acrobatics.
