The Charly CAPITAN is an aerodynamically optimized next-generation harness, developed for performance-oriented long-distance pilots and those who love to stay up in the air for hours but prefer an open harness. Thanks to a fourfold back support, the seating comfort remains high even after hours of flying. The Charly CAPITAN features a large rear storage compartment as well as several smaller pockets to ensure enough room for everything that is necessary for longer flights. The detachable rear cover allows for an aerodynamic seating positition and reduces air resistance.

The 3D-rescue reserve container enables an easy deployment of the parachute in all directions and is suitable for all current rescue systems. The foot stirrup is equipped with a separation system which is activated automatically when the rescue parachute is deployed, thus providing for its trouble-free opening.

With its highly effective foam protector, the Charly CAPITAN is licensed according to the latest LTF test guidelines and is equipped as standard with Pin Lock karabiners. With a replacement interval of eight years, Pin Lock karabiners possess a consideably longer service life than conventional karabiners. If desired, the Charly CAPITAN can also be delivered with conventional karabiners.

Optionally, the Charly CAPITAN can be equipped with a detachable cockpit which provides enough room for all standard instruments and a ballast bag of up to 10 litres.
