Finsterwalder AIRCLOTH Dacron 110 g/m²

is a specially manufactured hangglider sailcloth, that maintains its diagonal rigidity due to a fine weaving method as apposed to standard sailcloths, that use impregnating and annealing methods.
Thanks to this rather more expensive method of production (longer weaving time required), AIRCLOTH Dacron is particularly pliant and resistant to buckling and its diagonal rigidity dwindles less with age.
In spite of it's being lighter-weight, AIRCLOTH Dacron has the same longevity as first class heavy sailcloth. A further positive side effect is a noticeable improvement in handling due to its pliancy. It should be noted, that this cloth is slightly more sensitive to mechanical damage (e.g. rocks and barbed wire). This material is only available in white.

Dacron 160 g/m²

We recommend this standard material for the leading edge and wing tips in cases where the sail is subject to strong mechanical wear and tear (e.g. stony rigging areas).
As this material is generally used for sails/surfing sails, it is available in all fashionable colours. Additional price due to stockaging costs.
